God's Word reminds us that we all have sinned. The word sin means to miss the mark, or come short of perfection, by disobeying God. At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God.
The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell. This is the fate of every person who has not believed on Jesus Christ as Savior. "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment..." Matthew 25:46
God proved His love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sin. Jesus died in your place and paid your penalty.
To believe on Jesus Christ as Savior means to have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven. You can express your faith in Jesus through prayer.
"Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner and that I deserve Hell. I believe you died on the cross, paid the penalty for my sin, and rose from the dead three days later. I am placing my faith in you alone to forgive my sin and save me. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, AMEN."
